Wurlitzer 2304s by
Terry S
Going to look at this juke this week, I understand there is a potential
problem with a hinge? What should I look for, and what is this box
worth -- in "very good" condition?
Thanks
Terry

picked up near mint AY160, but doesn't pick up records by
Barnhart Pinball
Hoping for some tech help. I just bought a near mint Seeburg AY160, but the
carriage moves back and forth - but doesn't pick up a record. I'm not sure
how, but it's also selecting without coins.
Everything looks clean at a glance, and all plugs and wires appear to be
connected. What would be a...

FS/Trade: Seeburg R with wallbox by
[email protected]
I have a Seeburg R with a wallbox for sale or trade. It was restored
about six years ago. PR Novelty did the amp and receiver. It looks and
sounds great. The wall box that is with it works. That is original and
works with average chrome. $2500. I am also looking for newer pinball,
or antique slot...

Seeburg AY help! by
Ron
I'm looking for someone who would be
interested in making a service call on my
Seeburg AY.
Appears to me the mech is in need of
lubrication. It will immediately reject the first
20 or so selections you make every time the
juke is powered up. After that, the thing works
fine. I have...

mono vs. stereo newbie question by
[email protected]
Looking into getting my first juke, haven't had the opportunity to
listen to various models but curious about the sound quality of mono
vs. stereo units. Can anyone describe the difference of, say, a Seeburg
AY160 vs. a 100R? Besides, "The AY160 will sound like it has 2 channels
while the 100R has...

All hum is not the same by
Record Hound
Guess I may as well go ahead and show my age, as I worked on a LOT of
tube equipment in my my "younger years" - and you other old-timers here
know this too - a bad filter in a full-wave circuit will give a 120-Hz
hum, while an ungrounded input, etc. will give the familiar 60-Hz hum.
Knowing which...

Rockola 1428 ON Ebay - SCAM by
pennyarcadecollector
Coinopwarehouse was kind enough to forward me a message today that the
auction I am bidding in is a SCAM. Do not know anymore than that,
except that it may be linked to the requested "wire only transfer" for
payment. Just wanted to give everyone else a heads up so no one gets
bit...

rockola 1428 on EBAY - SCAM Auction by
pennyarcadecollector
Coinopwarehouse just let me know that a 1428 on EBAY right now is a
SCAM auction.
I assume that he has more insight than I at this moment, but assume it
has to do with the wire transfer for payment and or some other
matter.....
Just wanted to share with the community so no one else gets...

Tech: AY160 Loud Hum after selection by
Pinsgonewild
Was hoping someone could help me out. I purchased a AY160 and when
powered up it would only light up nothing else. I recapped the TORMAT
unit and rebuilt the pulse amplifier. I also cleaned all leaf switches
and connectors. It now powers up coins up and selects perfectly.
However I did not rebuild...

AMI ROWE R-74 Scan unit by
jukeboxdenny
HI Folks, I have a R74 Juke I picked up a while ago, it has a problem
with the scan unit. When you make a selection, the scan unit spins, but
never selects any of the pins in the pin bank.
If you manually stop the scan unit, with one of the 2 lever/solonides on
the unit, it will then pick up a...

My first 1015 by
[email protected]
Hi group,
I just picked up my first Wurlitzer 1015 within the past week. After
looking it over, I can see I obviously need a new set of plastics, as
well as some bubble tubes which need replacing.
My questions are these:
1) For the plastics, the VGLASS catalog mentions two sets, with a
tri-color...

TECH: NSM Grand Performer questions by
John
I picked up an NSM Grand Performer juke box recently for the gameroom,
and have some questions about it. It's a floor model, not wall mount,
if it makes a difference in troubleshooting.
1. Right channel is not working, or rather hardly working. If I
disconnect the left channel, I can hear the...
