Given the lack of replacements for 70's Wurlitzer readout switches, I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with opening one up and trying to fix it? Do the internals just get dirty, do the contacts need cleaning, or is it more complicated than that?

A few months age i asked about this machine where the mech was making jerking motions before it pulls in a record .
