You'll find the first two in the Scott Specialized as they're from
envelopes. There may be different type don't remember.

Yes, they are still on the original envelopes, they are not cut.
Don't have a Scott Specialized yet. Something I need to order.
That way I will not have to ask for any help with em.

The coil is the "Presidential Series" from the late 1930's [1938?]-
normal
catalogue for this.

Barry, I am not a expert on these but will venture a guess.
The easy one first: 3¢ Washington Coil, Scott number 842 issued
January 209, 1939, catalog value $ 0.50
The side by side scan 1904 issues; I would say the one on the left
appears to have a blue cast is U398a catalog value $5.75
The other might be a U396, catalog value $8.00 or U396a, catalog value
$10.00. I am not sure on this one.

Hi
The different papers on US envelope stamps are hard to call from
scanned images. There are two different dies for the 2¢ 1899 issue and
the 1904 reissue. In the 1899 issue, the d in united is flat on both
sides. The 1904 issue the d is flat on one face and well rounded on
the other face.

What about the lines in the banner?
There are differences in these two examples, I know that alot of US stamps
types depend
on similar lines. Such as number, placement and etc.

Btw, what is the value difference between a 1899 issue and a 1904 issue?
