Missing Lithuanian stamps in Scott Catalogue?

I have the 2004 Scott catalogue, which now has modern Lithuania starting
at
number 371 (Oct. 1990 issue). It's preceded by the following note: "Nos.
371-399 were issued before the Soviet Union recognized the independence of
Lithuania on Sept. 6, 1991, but were available and valid for use after
that
date."

This is great, Dave. Could I ask you to post the numbers here, as compared
to Michel ?

Mette. SG, which us usually pretty fussy about validity, certainly
includes some stamps in 1990-1991. But without Michel or images it's
difficult to tell whether they agree with Scott.

The cataloguers must have had great amusement in restarting these
"finished" countries after 50 years.

1991, March 11, Independence Anniv. Scott 389

off cover? If so I guess their legitimacy would be more proven. The
first ones look a little too label like for the present era ( although
that is no guarantee that they are labels ) while the later ones are
much more stamp-like.

As I wrote in my answer to Jay Carrigan earlier in this thread I
have all of these either as used singlesor most of them on
cover/piece, as well as they are all included in the official Lithuanian
yearsets.

The first ones are not labels. If you look at the souvenir sheet
issued 21st May 1994 (Michel Block 4, Scott 492) you'll see
this design included in the sheet, that was issued in commemoration
of the 100th stamp issue of modern Lithuania.
