Default Int'l (short) cartridges won't fit in Waterman Hemisphere

Bought a Waterman Hemisphere. Bought some Waterman cartridges.

Own a Rotring Initial, and some MontBlanc and Pelikan cartridges.

The Waterman cartridges fit securely enough in the Rotring.

The MontBlanc and Pelikan cartridges do not fit far enough in the
barrel of the Waterman Hemisphere to screw it closed.

What other brands of cartridges would fit in my Waterman Hemisphere?

Parker cartridges will fit a Waterman fountain pen. It has similar
tapering and both pens are made by the same company anyhow.

Not exactly. Parker and Waterman are separated companies "pwned" by
Sanford. Factory of Waterman is at Nantes, France and factory of Parker
is at Sussex, The United Kingdom.

Not my experience. Most Watermans won't accept a Parker cartridge (the
cartridge nipple is totally different). And, even if they do, within
hours or days, they leak. Not a good idea.

john cline ii who hopes that helps

Okay. Tried a newer box of Pelikan international cartridges (short),
and they do fit in the Waterman Hemisphere! Several days now, and no
leaks. So only the Mont Blanc international cartridges will not fit.

I bought a different Waterman for a friend and learned that the only
cartridges that fit it are the short Waterman, short Pelikan, and short
Rotring carts.

HTH.
