Default Native American $1 coins at bank

My bank has had all new Presidential dollars for many months now and I
no longer get mixed rolls of SBA/Sac/Presidential coins. Lately it's
been all Abraham Lincoln coins.

This bank does not participate in the Mint program which supplies banks
with boxes of the latest design during the six-week order period.

Imagine my surprise when I got rolls of 2010 Native American dollars
today! I thought the only way the Native American dollars entered
circulation was through the Direct Ship program.

Then I realized someone must have, contrary to the intent of the
program, done the trick of buying some on their credit card and getting
reward points or cash back.

Has anyone else gotten rolls of Native American dollars at their bank?

Paul

Back when they were called Sacagawea dollars, "Sacs," or "Sacabux,"
yes. That was back in 2000 and occasionally 2001. Of the current
rendition now called Native American dollars, no. I can easily get
Presidential coins out the wha-zoo, even bank rolls of the older ones
(save GW's; he's been "sold out" for years).

Rev. Jerry, preaching to the choir:
Get rid of the FBI-RDs and Brass Bucks will circulate.

Yes. Some were shipped to businesses and banks and armored car
operators (coin depots) in bulk. They find their way to banks in
normal boxes of dollar coins because the machines that wrap the rolls
of coins simply have their hopper filled with whatever coins are on
hand. Ans yes, some people deposit the rolls of coins and many spend
them in full rolls and some of those retailers who get the rolls n
payment may not open the rolls.

When I get commingled dollar coins from my bank, there is quite a mix
of Prexibux, Native American and Sacagaweas and very few Susies.
