They are also different sizes. larger denom larger note and different color. Really much easier. Doris I keep forgetting that all US notes are the same size. That really is bizarre. Small size bills "lost" in between the larger ones in the wallet would be one potential irritation, IMO. I have become used to having the tops of my bills flush across in my wallet. Over the years, we 'merkins also have developed the ability to read the denominations on the corners on our one-size paper bills, and we pass this skill down to our young. Jim wrote: Colin Kynoch continues to re-invent science to suit his idiocy.... Our Polymer notes are not plastic They are laminated polypropylene lil boy. It's frightening that the rest of the free world knows that to be plastic and you don't. If you want to be inaccurate they are 'plastic' Plastic is an adjective not a noun they are stable and not at all capable of being shaped or formed. I took a flaming matchbook to one a couple years back and it shrank and dripped, much like molten....plastic. So in its molten state the polymer is plastic. I suggest you look up a dictionary. Even something like the Webster has plastic as an adjective and not a noun. I am assuming that you are aware of the difference between a noun and an adjective which I know is a mighty big assumption. Don't know if they've improved the formula and frankly don't know what's swirling thru that head of yours when you make that statement, but given the track record to date on what you know of your own paper money (as opposed to the term currency) Australia has no 'paper' money anymore , it's clear you should be headed home from the voting booth. Next election not until probably late next year. Johnny needs to manufacture another crisis. Colin Kynoch |

We also have the right to chew gum and pee on elevators, without having our hands chopped off in a public display of obnoxious, over aggressive policing reminiscent of some 19th century boxer rebellion martial law. Yes but you can go to jail for selling vibrators. Or having consensual sex. Colin Kynoch |
