"Certified Genuine" ??? Coin Grading Service
I just bought a coin off of eBay that was slabbed by some outfit called
Certified Genuine, or, at least, that was what the slab label listed. I, of course, paid no attention to the grading, but am still curious whether anyone has ever heard of this outfit. Alternatively, is some coin dealer slabbing coins in the back room? Thanks, Joel |

There are three or four that most people consider reliable (PCGS, NGC, ANACS, and the seemingly up-and-coming ICG). There are at least three or four more that are recognized as not being self-slabbers, but whose reliability is in question. |
