There are actually quite a few such initiatives in Germany; see this map: http://www.regiogeld.de/public/initiativen.php Most of them suffer from very limited participation. From what I know about those projects, they work better in relatively small towns. Will be interesting to see whether that will be different in Berlin ... Christian |
