Red Skelton (Freddie the Freeloader) Doll
I've run across a Red Skelton( Freddie the Freeloader) Doll. He is about
16-18 inches tall. His feet are sort of floppy like a clowns about 6-7 inches long. he has a red nose and looks like a hobo with sort of frumpy pants and sport jacket with tie. His hands are typical flexible skin colored plastic but stop at the wrist where they are pressed flat and stitched to fabric arms. The legs are sort of a stiff nylon type tight mesh material (light beige) and are stuffed fairly tight. He has a receding hairline with hair coming out of holes in the soft plastic head. He looks just like a cartoon version of Freddie the Freeloader. I can't find out anything about the doll. Does anybody out there have any ideas of what It is and it's value. Possibly someone can tell me where I might go to fond out. Thanks Len |
