Are you the famous collector George Dreher?

There are still huge areas of the country with low population
density where only dialup is available

According to the FCC, either Cable or DSL is available in 90%
of zip codes.

According to Neilsen, among active Internet users broadband
use has reached the 90% level in the U.S. eBay sellers would qualify as
active users.

AT&T/SBC's share of the dialup market is under 10%.

Nor does any of this apply to at least 3 of these drive-by's. "Aspen
Coins" claimed to be from Littleton, Colorado. "Pastor Gorden" claimed
to be from Smithtown, New Brunswick, and this poster claims to be from
Gila River, AZ. Broadband is available in all three areas.

Gila River is a river and not a town. Google it.
How can Broadband be available in a mostly dry river bed?

George from Arizona and never heard of a "community" Gila River.

Did you include an image of the front *and* the back of the slab?
That is required for certified coins. Read the requirements for
certified coins at:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/selling-coins.html

Tony:

Had you checked a few of the closed auctions you'd have seen that both
sides of the coins were shown.

He didn't link to his auctions so I didn't see them.

He gave his userID, so its just a matter of searching the seller and
looking at feedback and clicking the links to completed auctions.

Why should I bother? Just another whiner who can't be arsed to
provide full information and easy access to what he's whinging about.
If he wants help, let him help himself first.

What I did provide is one of the reasons eBay cancels coin auctions of
certified coins. If that's not his problem, then he's not out
anything for the reading of it.

What attempt have you made to help him? All you've done is provide a
different type of whining.

Why is it that folks like you, the pundits, turn into whiners when it
happens to YOU?

We just had that exact thing happen here just a few days ago.

Pundits whine more than anyone else on this newsgroup.

Hmmm, is one defined as a pundit because he whines, or does one whine
because he is a pundit? Just curious. As for me, I appreciate a fine
camembert with my whine. But I prefer that made with pasteurized milk.
That real stinky stuff is gross. You probably now consider that last
comment whining. I can live with it. 8)

Oh, and another characteristic of a pundit are nonsensical followups,
but then you already knew that.

Hey, thanks for the compliment. For a newbie, you're quite the asset to
rec.collecting.coins, aren't you (of course, you're probably a bleed-over
from the other newsgroup to which I inadvertently cross-posted, so you'll
not likely see this)?

James the Pundit
