went to a veteran's day ceremony this weekend, and in the veteran's
building they had in the sitting area a VERY nice juke in great
condition, but not in working order. it is only 12 play, with a rotary
dial where you push to select the song you want. it accepts nickles
and dimes and i assume it plays 78's. it is a beautiful piece of art.

does anyone know what this is?

It's a 1930's Wurlitzer, but it's been modified over the years so it's hard
to tell which one.
I would guess that there used to be some kind of metal grillwork that has
been removed, and that the top area used to have glass in it instead of the
musical notes panel that is there now.
