Paper softness
I have just received this note:
http://www.auctiva.com/hostedimages/...s=0,0&format=0 I have every other note in this series, including a creased 5,000. This one however has a noticeable limpness to it. Any ideas what would cause this? |

It probably has been washed, usually if it is due to flooding it would be dirty as well.. |

Is it just water? just water and mild liquide soap (Fairy - the stuff you use to wash dishers) or corn flower and a steam iron I have never washed a note or pressed one just can not be bothered you can always tell when a note has been messed with -- Michael @ www.worldwidecoins.co.uk mirror site www.numismatic.biz World Banknotes & Coins eBay http://members.ebay.co.uk/aboutme/worldwidecoins/ |
