Question about Indian Art

An art stamp collector has sent me images of two Indian art stamps shown on
this page:

asking me for more information about them, i.e. content, style, etc. The
top image is Scott # 1853, and the bottom is Scott # 577.

As my knowledge of Indian Art is next to nothing, I would appreciate if
someone more knowledgeable out there, maybe an Indian collector, could
provide more information? Thanks in advance for any help in this :-)
