1934 Woodrow Wilson $100,000 Gold Certificate
Assuming it is legitimate, how much would one of these be worth today?
Are they in fact illegal to possess? What should one do if they come into possession of them? |

The Treasury Department has them all. That is why they do not appear in
any catalogs. elle134 wrote: Assuming it is legitimate, how much would one of these be worth today? Are they in fact illegal to possess? What should one do if they come into possession of them? |

Claud & Judith Murphy In regards to the Smithsonian we are saddened that the numismatic exhibit will be taken down soon. We have read that the Smithsonian will incorporate some of the collection with any new exhibits being built. We just have to wait and see what they do? As for the $100,000 note. One of these wonderful items is on loan to the American Numismatic Association in Colorado Springs, CO. It would be one reason why you would want to visit the ANA Headquarters, Museum and Library when vacationing out west. Admission is free and information on the ANA can be obtained from www.money.org. Thanks, John and Nancy Wilson, Ocala, FL By any chance does anyone know the serial numbers of the BEP and ANA notes? The SNs should be in the range of #A0002011xA, unless they are spwciman, in which case |

If I remember correctly, the sheet of $100,000 notes displayed by the BEP at
major coin shows has all zero serial numbers - specimens. Alan Herbert The AnswerMan |
