Default CAN'T ANYBODY STOP THIS CROOKED SOB?????

SINCE DECEMBER 14th 2003 KINGCOLLECTIBLES HAS SWINDLED 41
UNSUSPECTING BIDDERS OUT OF A TOTAL IF $1112.03 ON THIS ITEM
ALONE.
ITEM # 2785933657 IS TODAY'S (1/25) FRAUDULENT OFFERING Watch out for
ebay seller ID kingcollectibles out of Philadelphia. This guy lists a
color reprint of a 1928
Babe Ruth Fro Joy sheet EVERY DAY in 1 day auctions. He has screwed
many bidders
out of a lot of money because he passes it off as an original. He has
now put a hidden
bidder tag on this item so no one can contact the unsuspecting high
bidder. IT IS AN
ABSOLUTE CRIME THAT THIS SCUMBAG CONTINUES TO GET AWAY WITH
THIS AND EBAY HAS GIVEN HIM A LICENSE TO DO IT. HELP STOP THIS
CROOK----FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE Internet Fraud Complaint Center

Unfortionately Ebay is the place these days for "crooked" people. I saw on the
news last night the most amount of scams are occuring on internet auction sites
and it has risen in the last year. I'd be willing to bet I know which auction
site is the highest. I ran across a seller not to long ago that had around 200
auctions going. In about 180 of them the same bidder was bidding. Not really
strange but a few weeks later I noticed the same card for sale that this bidder
won because it was #'ed. The seller was goofy enough to re-post most of the
cards that this bidder won and alot were #'ed so it was very clear to me what
was going on. I'm sure you can guess the email I rec'd from Ebay stated that
there was not enough proof for them to do anything. If you sell alot on ebay,
They will let you get away w/ almost anything! It is getting worse on Ebay I
have gotten ripped off more the last year than all the years I have been here.
You can only hope that someone will crack down on them and back up the "good"
guys.

There are plenty of good sellers/buyers on Ebay,I'm sure.
But it only took me getting ripped off twice...and these were the ONLY 2 TIMES
I ever (attempted to) purchase cards on Ebay...to swear off it.For good.
I usually pay a fair price for cards I need anyway,so I don't mind dealing with
reputable stores or dealers (at shows or on newsgroups...or even AOL)...I'll
let the lowballers, cheapos and kiddies stay with Freebay. Everyone thinks they
can get a $100 card for $1 nowadays...and I guess you get what you pay for.
Hey?You want to make up for what you lowball-bid on with outrageous shipping
costs and possibly fraudulent "feedback"? Be my guest.Have fun on Freebay.
I'll stick with not trying to ripoff or lowball reputable dealers online and in
person that I've dealt with in the past to try to keep the hobby alive.
Hate to see people getting ripped off continously by one person but it seems
from all these horror stories that Freebay does nothing to prevent stuff like
this...nor does Paypal.
