Default AMI D80 turntable motor

I have a D*) that whwn I put new belts on the turntable it don't
start. The motor starts fine without the belts but with belts on it
nneeds a push to start
wondering if its the motor or the bearings on the idler
has anyone seen this? I assume I need replace the motor and would be
interested in anyone with a spare for sale
thanks

I had trouble with one of those AMI with belts . If i remember right the
idler wheel had a long fat shaft that fit on a brass bushing .
I twisted that bushing around one half turn and made sure it and the
motor had nice thin oil . Those belts sem to need to be the right size
also or they bind up .
