What is the value of a 'Mid-Century' ashtray?
Hello,
I had located a 1962 ashtray by artist "Leroy Benjamin." The ashtray has a white eggshell-like surface with several bits of green, yellow, red, blue, and orange spots. There are two inserts in the tray for placing cigarettes. The shape of the ashtray is a rounded triangle. What is the value of this ashtray? Thank-you

From my personal experience, never having encountered an ashtray with a documented sketch by Picasso, the only ones I've seen with any value are very fine crystal. So, I guess you're on your own.
