Default NSM Satellite 200 - spins too quickly

Hi Guys,

I recently purchased a NSM Satellite 200 - i was not working at all -
after a little bit of playing around it now works but spins the record
too quickly making everysong a little bit "chipmonkey" to listen too.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

hi, i am trying to rebuid a satellite 200 also. i believe my player is the wrong one. is there anyway you could tell me what the serial number on the back of the player mechanism is. it is on a white sticker on the back.

also, i have a friend named jeremy that knows a ton about this box and could probably fix your problem. contact him at jeremy@ dwave.net, Tom

Neat purchase Rhys, I fell in love with the looks of the Satellite
(now I have two!).

Two things to check, The pivot for the turn table motor gums up
(remove the motor and clean the pivot). Without the proper tension
between the motor and the black band speed issues will happen. There
are also two thermistors located on the main power board - on both of
my machines they were removed - not sure if this was a factory
recomended fix or not.

If you want to see a movie of my machine in action plus several photos
- check out my photo bucket page (click on satellite 200)

Feel free to check out the other juke project photos as well.
