Default Does Stamphead work for you

Hi everyone,

At the risk of 'promoting' a site....

I just had a tour at Stamphead.com and found it to be a
very interesting Website - quite an alternative to the usual
Ebay and QXL etc. It all looks very well thought out to me!

It has now grown to a very reasonable size, and has enough
registered members to make it a real alternative for me to
Auction my stamp lots. Most Lots seem to be attracting a
respectable number of visitors too!

What do you think? Is this as good as it seems (to me), or
have I missed something, apart from the FREE listing/buying?

David.

Hmmm. entering a search for "Great Britain" returned Russia, Cuba,
Germany, Israel, US, Belgian Congo, Chad, Iran, Malawai, Luxembourg
.... and -some- actual GB!

Trying "GB" got more -real- GB, but also US Hummingbirds, Hong Kong
Bulk, Guyana, Israel, Mashonaland, Italy, Anguilla ...

May be a problem with the search section, but I used the menu system
and found some impressively priced earlies in there, among the 99c.
stocking-fillers!

The thing that I noticed is that most items had a fair number of visits
before the end of the auction. My last Auctions at QXL received very few.

David.
