Uncertified '77 Indian on ebay
The seller describes "AU details", which usually means the coin has been
cleaned, but he doesn't mention any cleaning in the pictures: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...22&ssPage Nam e=STRK:MEWA:IT Is a lie of omission still a lie? --Jeff (L.) |

Wow, if you check his other auctions he has all the key coins raw and going cheap. The best looking one is the 22 plain cent and the CC Morgans are good looking too. I may have to mortgage the house and jump on these. Cliff |

It's a shame about the rim bumps on the 1877, though. I didn't look at all his aquctions, but if the coins are cleaned they aren't harshly cleaned. He's getting great action on those auctions as well. ************************************************** ************ *Bruce Hickmott * *ANA R162074 * *EAC3606 * * * *To email me, remember that RoadRunner and Coyote do not mix.* ************************************************** ************ |

I've been watching this guys auctions for quite some time now. He always has good photos and I usually agree with his grade. I'm hoping the 1914D doesn't get too high. ;o) -- John Visit the RCCers favorite coins web page http://mysite.verizon.net/jcarney44/coins/rccers.html |

In this, the "era of the slab", I have to wonder why he hasn't certified
his coins -- most key dates than CAN be slabbed HAVE been slabbed. I'm suspicious of this guy's auctions. Something doesn't smell right. --Jeff (L.) The coin looks good to my untrained eye except for the minor nicks.
Suspicion arises with the $18 p/h. With a coin of this quality and real value, why does he want $18 for shipping one penny? Thats a red light in itself and a little fishy. My stupid opinion, Jim |

Ok, I understand about the p/h WITH insurance. But for a coin of this
value, why isn't slabbed? |

Why does the T in LIBERTY look glued on?

I see an irregularity there, too, but the scan is not good enough to tell
exactly what the problem is. James "Frank Provasek" wrote in message nk.net... Why does the T in LIBERTY look glued on? |
