Yes you did You will also notice that the Pelikan Level has a separate
writing reservoir cut off by a valve where ink is fed to the nib while
writing. When the ink in this reservoir is expended the valve is open to
reload it from the storage reservoir. In terms of ink capacity, the Level
rivals the eyedroppers of yesteryears. You may want to look into that if you
are unhappy with the capacity of cartridge pens
