Japanese stamp cancelled Imperial Hotel.
Last evening a club member brought a show n tell item to the meeting.
It was an old Japanese stamp bearint the post mark of the Imperial Hotel in English. Anyone know anything about this item?? Ralphael, the OLD one |

(2) It was rebuilt by Frank Lloyd Wright. 1923-1967. (3) By 1967, the old hotel was unsafe (earthquakes, bombing etc...) The modern hotel was built on the same property and the old hotel was demolished. Built 1968-70. Still in business. Blair .. It is a newer building on the old property. |
