Default Australia~Auxilliary markings.

Commercial cover with SG204 punctured with "AH&S"
Roller (Sydney 29) cancelled 23rd October 1946

The reverse has a boxed "return 15" mark,
I wonder if this has any philatelic reference? or maybe a store mark.
Anyone recognise it?
Thanks.

As it originates from Anthony Hordern's, I wonder if the mark might
not be something internal to Anthony Horderns.

(You recall that old slight, 'More front than Anthony Horderns'?)

Hi Tony,
no, I don't recall that one.
How about..."More front than a rat with a gold tooth" ?

I remember the Pavillion during my apprenticeship in Sydney.

I shall put it under "store mark", I do recall some Aussie covers
with the "20" mark, (earning a discount on 20 letters in same area/postcode)
Rod.
