Contest Prize Received!
Came in the mail today! My co-3rd place prize in the 1965-69 half dollar
guess-fest. I never in my wildest dreams expected a krugerrand and a toned AU58 Barber half, so I wasn't at all disappointed when neither of these was in the envelope. What I DID receive though was a .999 silver krugerrand commemorative coin 1867-1982 and a true double-date 1959-1982 mini-cent in what looks like PF64! The krugerrand commem is about the size of a US dime and looks to be PF67DCAM. The mini-cent is about the size of my first liver spot, but I also see it is marked 14K COPY and I'm starting to get even more excited now! 100 mil clad?? Solid chunk of au?? Silver and gold for a co-third prize? I can only imagine what the first place winner received! Thanks again, David, for the fun contest and the great prizes!!! Bruce
