Default difference between seeburg red and black stereo cart.

Hi All,
Is there any functional difference/ advantage (sound or tracking)
between the red and black (dark grey) Seeburg stereo carts. Thanks,
Rick.

The monaural units such as the B and C came with a black cartridge. Later units came with the redhead. The redhead will plug in and replace the black carytridge perfectly and give MUCH better sound and record life. I converted all of my older machines to the redhead in the sixties.
