I wasn't gonna,
but then I thought "to hell with it"
it seemed roughly "on topic"

Here is our son in his footy gear,
(that's him sucking on the water bottle)

No guessing which team he belongs to

(we got clobbered in the semi final)

I thought for a moment, a rare case
of serendipity, the "Van Demons Land" stamp label
reminded me of an image I had seen on a stamp
calender years ago.

I found it, but alas, it was printed in the US.

Meet Mr. Tammen,
son of a German Immigrant, and a very
amazing man by all accounts.

"He also dealt in stereoscopic and other photos
of the West (he was supplied by the famous Western photographer W.H.
Jackson), photo albums,
books on the West, silver souvenir spoons,
a wide variety of humorous and scenic postcards "

Also, an obtuse reference to the man who
inspired my son's name Cody, and why Buffalo Bill
was buried in Denver.

Interesting guy, Tammen. Can't say I like him for the B.B. Cody thing
but Wyoming has a history of not hanging on to anything. Wyoming
doesn't own the water in it's rivers.
