Default e-bay seller warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a warning to the group of a e-bay seller that hasn't come good on
his commitment.

I won an auction on Sept.16/03 and Christian OOnk aka
hall_of_fame_autographs has continually given me the run around. After
2wks I e-mailed and he said the cards were sent out, then after 4 wks
he said they were sent then he e-mailed me back saying oh my mistake I
could'nt send them there was no return address, not!!! all he had to
do was look at the receipt for the money order that he cashed. then I
e-mailed the address, after 2-3wks he said he mailed them
honestly!!!!, then after a few weeks I said I was going to lodge a
complaint and post on the newsgroup and e-bay he said he would refund
the money, now another 2 wks and he fails to respond to e-mails.
Smelly isn't it.

With a person of his good conscience, honesty and business excellence
as attaining to his such a positive feedback and 99% rating, I'm sure
he will do the right thing, unless I become a part of the %1.

Hopefully, this can be resolved and all retracted and please use
caution if you chance to deal with him.

thx for your time ...Fred

Christian is a decent fellow to deal with. This warning post is
unjustified and uncalled for.

A couple of things here , if the guy has been waiting since September for
his auction win than I would hardly call it "unjustified and uncalled for"
That is too long to wait.

Secondly when I do an Ebay search by seller for hall_of_fame_autographs I
get User ID invalid

I would have to agree, but I think sending out warnings should not be
necessary either. I recently had problems with not receiving payments and
purchases. The reason why nothing was ever said to anyone else is because of
correspondence. If you are not willing to correspond with each other then
there is something wrong. On the matter of not receiving the cards the
seller sent the money back to me, now if the cards ever show up I will give
it back to him. For the matter of money, I finally received it. At first the
guy told me he had sent it, but when I finally got the payment the postage
date was from a week before I received it. He apologized for lying and that
was all I needed. On both occasions both sent emails with obvious intent.
If people are honest and want to make transactions work, it will make
weeding out the EBay "A-Holes" even easier.

Discuss!

Chris

just to justify myself here! as i told fred lederman on the 2 cards!
they were sent and must have been lost in the mail!

a few days prior4 to fred leaving the negatives on these 2 cards i told him
i would give him a refund! although at the same time i told him he would
have to wait a few days as i didn't have my internet service up and running!
as it is i just got it up and running today!
moving is a bitch and i am sure everybody here has been through it at 1 time
or another!

it was bad enough that i found out from friens that i recieved 2 negatives
on this matter, then when i get on to the newsgroup i find out that i was
slammed as well!

and for the guy that couldn't find my ebay seller rating - the name is
under - hall-of-fame-autographs, not hall_of_fame_autographs

but whatever the guy still is gonna get his money back even though he gave
me the pramture negatives because i didn't have access to his 3 per day
e-mails while i was unable to answer them

Christian, I'd just like to refresh your memory.

In our last round of correspondence I sent you e-mails on Nov.
20,25,28, and Dec. 1 and you replied on Dec. 1 saying you would deal
with it the next day. I did not post on the board or leave -ve
feedback until Dec. 9, a week later after not hearing from you. At no
time did I send more than 1 e-mail out in a day and it was usually
after 3-5 days. Saying I was e-mailing you 3 times a day is a total
outright lie. I still have all the corresponding e-mails. When I
receive my refund it will be posted and your -ve feedback retracted.
thx for your time...Fred

just sticking my 2 cents in here....first I'll comend the seller for
following through with a refund...there are actually sellers that
think b/c a negative was left some how it makes the transaction
over(and sometimes the right to steal depending on the situation)....I
believe I have been on both sides of this situation...I sold to
someone here a few years ago never received the MO and they posted a
bad "trader" post on me...Anyone who has delt with me knows I don't
steal(no one responded b/c they knew it was crap)..and I had a seller
decide not to send a card when I had proof that he cashed my MO(my
case was of course worse b/c he was not answering emails(took a phone
call from my father who works for US customs to solve the
problem...still go a damaged card but wasn't worth the hassel after
that)....I can understand the orginal poster not knowing what else to
do

Just a thought, most mail takes more than a week to get from one place to
the other. If you get better service than that great!

Well Christian, it's been another 9 days of waiting for a response
from you. I can't understand why you just don't pay it and get this
issue settled.
