Default Gold Jersey 1 of 1 again in 2004...

The new product 2003-04 IN THE GAME-ACTION will include 20 Gold Jersey cards
(one-of-ones)... it looks to be the same pattern as the 2002-03 BAP Ultimate
Memorabilia 3rd Edition Gold 1 of 1 parallels. I think In The Game Inc.
should add something more on these 1 of 1 cards instead of only modifying
the silver color in gold (only a parallel card). A new picture of the
player, an autograph... something different on the 1 of 1 card should appear
to make it more attractive and having a real higher value comparatively to
the regular jersey card. This is my point of vue.

My point of view is that whats wrong with them inserted in packs. They at least
hold value oppoese to the ones sold from the facktory not even inserted into
packs,

You didn't understand my point of view. The problem isn't about cards
"inserted in packs" or not (where did you got this idea in my point of
view?), I only emphasized the fact that they didn't put something better on
the 1 of 1 cards, nothing else than a gold design versus a silver design.

Everybody knows you would like to get on Summer 2002 the Datsyuk 2002
Titanium HOBBY Press Plates ROOKIE 1/1 (the ones used to print the RC
#/13)... but your weren't at the good place at the good time. It is as
simple as that.

Neither were you, scumbag. You took advantage of a guy who
a) knew nothing about hockey and b) wasn't supposed to be selling them
in the first place.

But I guess by your standards, that is the right place at the right
time. If you can take advantage of people who don't know any better, do it.

Schmuck.

Incidentally, for HCD and company: The plates were frontdoored. They
were intended to be freely available by auction as they are now, but at
that time there were some license issues that had to be settled FIRST,
which is why the auctions were withdrawn.

You do not understand one thing: there is no price guide for 1/1s. For
someone who wants to sell a 1/1, you will be the new owner if you do the
best offer. This is the only way to get a unique 1/1 card that you really
want. What is the right price for a Kovalchuk 2002 Titanium Press Plate
ROOKIE 1/1 (the one used to print the RCs #/17)? $10.00? $100.00? $500.00?
$1000.00? $5000.00? Who knows? Do you make your estimation with the market
on eBay, or do you use the Beckett? Half-and-half? How do you estimate
values of cards in 2003? Looking the low prices on eBay vs. the prices on
card show, an auction market isn't always the best place to sell collection
items. For 95% of hockey cards, you won't get the best price tomorrow for
your card on eBay because people are looking for cash very rapidly. It isn't
a normal situation to see some Mario Lemieux 03 BAP Ultimate 3rd Edition
Magnificent Emblems Auto #/5 for sale at $300.00US when packs are $75-100US
each. Many of the high valuable cards I have seen on card shows have been
bought through eBay.

The Pacific representative told me that you, Mr. Steve Angel, are a
frustrated guy when you do not get what you want. I have lost enough time
with you last year about this story on this Newsgroup, so get it over! I
have them since 1 year, it is as simple as that. If you want some of my
plates, make a reasonable offer, I am always open to discuss about
selling/trading.

I doubt that. Oliver is a decent guy. You, on the other hand, are not.
Guess which of you has more credibility in my world?
