I wasn't punching touchscreens in the fifties, I was punching wallbox buttons. And that's what I'm doing now with my Jukemaster!

Anyone bought a Jukemaster 100?
ture...some of those programs allow you to map keys so you could use a
vintage keypad if you so chose to do so.... For me, I like to keep it real....real vinyl etc However, i really think the jukemaster is a cool little gizmo....the price point just is a bit too high for me nick wrote: I wasn't punching touchscreens in the fifties, I was punching wallbox buttons. That's the key to the whole thing! You could pay $200 for an Ipod Nano. Ken In Texas Wrote: Good points....but the markup on that thing has to be massive....a mp3/cd player can be had for around 50.00 so you are paying 200 for the case.... I wonder why they went with an AMI looking wallbox instead of a 3w1 type? nick wrote: A new wallbox cost me $250 back in the early sixties and all it did was CONTROL a jukebox (never mind the cost of the stepper!). This thing has the jukebox IN the wallbox! I thought it was a genuine bargain at $250 on the web. If I accounted for inflation, those sixties wallboxes would be more than $2500 in today's dollars. That makes this thing a STEAL! And all I have to do is download my favorite music and burn a CD without having to search high and low for worn out old 45's....It also runs off nine volts, so with a car adaptor, I can hang it out the window on cruise nights. Ken In Texas Wrote: I saw these and thought they were very cool...but the price is a bit steep. nick wrote: I bought one and it's amazing. An MP3 CD player in a wallbox with pushbutton controls! They actualy packed a jukebox into a wallbox! If I had those things with coin acceptors back in the sixties, I'd be a trillionaire! I'm feeding mine ninto my stereo for REAL juke box sound. It even adds needle popping at the beginning of songs and mechanism noises between songs. My best Christmas present in forty years! Now all I have to do is find a 1931 Mills cabinet like I got for Christmas in 65, and use it for the subwoofer cabinet. -- Ken In Texas http://www.pinballrebel.com Custom Pinball Cards, Jukeboxes, Drive In's "Never ask a man if he's from Texas.
