Rockola noisy mech.
Hi I have a Rockola 1455 with the carousel mech. Is there a way to
quieten these things down without dissassembly.Also the gripper motor has grinding noise when taking record off. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. |

Rockola noisy mech.
I have limited juke box experience, but I just rebuilt at 1438 from
the ground up. The only noise you should hear from the carousel is the sound of the tang the keep the records in place during rotation clicking back and forth and the records moving around. I would pull the motor for the carousel and turn it by and and listen. You might be able to identify the part that needs attention. Also, you might want to take your two motors apart (easy to do) and inspect and lube them. They shouldn't make any grinding noises.
