Default New Site for Coin Op Collectors (final annoucement)

Update:

Initial interest has been pretty encouraging with over 4000 hits to the
site since announcing it less than a week ago, but to date there's hardly
any activity in the "Community" section. There are, however, several new
posts in the forums, including some in the Wanted and For Sale sections.
Drop by and take a look!

In addition, I've posted a tentative schedule for weekly online "GTs" using
the CoinOpCollector.com ChatZone feature.

Always looking for ideas/suggestions to make the site better. You can
email me via the website, or shortly, there'll be a private forum where you
can leave messages for me.

Take care, and I look forward to seeing you at:
http://www.coinopcollector.com/

---------

In an attempt to build an online resource and virtual community for
collectors of all types of coin operated equipment, be it video games,
pinball machines, jukeboxes, and more, I've assembled this site with all of
you in mind.

The site features a complete set of forums dedicated to coin-op collecting,
a "ChatZone" for realtime live chatting with each other, links to resources
on the web, reviews of books (still in progress), with much more planned
(ie: search engines as the site grows, coinopcollector.com email accounts
for users, regular user-submitted columns, etc, etc).

The community has given me a lot over the years, and I'd like to give
something back. This is *your* site -- I welcome any and *all*
ideas/suggestions, and will try to implement as many of them as I can.

If you'd like to contribute articles to the site you're more than welcome
to, and they'd be greatly appreciated (email me to discuss the topic).

Come check it out at: http://www.coinopcollector.com/

I look forward to seeing you there!

Steve,

Great site, nice layout. It's obvious you spent a lot of energy to make
this work. I haven't posted in the forums, yet, just nothing to say I
guess. I do hope others will join in. It looks like a great potential
resource site.

Thanks for the effort, I hope it works out for you.
