The TES collection - looking for info
Greetings r.c.s.d
I wonder if anyone knows .... Here I have a printed catalogue of the Christie's sale, in 1995, of the TES collection of GB QV line-engraved Pennies. It was a breathtakingly stunning collection of many hundreds of lots, almost entirely Pennies - trials, plate proofs, imprimaturs, issued, etc, and I still have no idea who assembled the collection or anything of its history. Can anyone cast light on this? I am curious .... Cheers -- Roger Hunt |

However, there are some collectors who don't want to be named and this may be such a case. -- John Taormina The MIDDLE-AGED one To email me you must remove "notme" and "jack" |
