I mailed a CD from our Math Study Unit to a member in Russia last October.
He had not received it as of early February. This is the only CD out of
about 40 mailed out worldwide that did not get through. Apparently this is
not an isolated problem with Russian mailings as the member asked us to
send the CD to a friend in the US who would be able to get it to him.

The solution to send something safely and fast to Russia, that I tested and
that perfectly worked, was by FedEx. It was expensive though.

BTW, it was the same carrier that I used to send important documents from
NYC to Chicago. The common denominator is not difficult to find (no, it was
neither the meteorite nor the end of the world .

Fedup Hex works IF you live in a city!
IF you live in the rural, clean, friendly US, then they dump it off to
some slob who may, or may not, bring it down a week later in the back
of his pickup.
