Default Off Topic: PC Video Games question for the gamers there

I tried visiting a few of the games areas and one person did respond
at the Lucasfilm site about Monkey Island (my favorite series) and
Leisure Suit Larry....

My question is about old Sierra games I loved and was looking for new
versions....

Kings Quest IX
Quest for Glory VI
Gabriel Knight IV
Space Quest (forgot what the last one was).

Does anyone know if they'll make sequels to any of these? One of my
favorite designers is Roberta Williams.... but I've never seen any
more of these games being put out. Does anyone know anything? I know
Sierra went out of business, but is that when all these games died or
did the people who bought them out do more?

Everything out these days seems dark and 3D. Love those
inventory/puzzle games.

I played all of those games as well back in the days . I can't
wait for the new LSL game to come out. Venvindi sp? is releasing it. I saw
it at E3. There has been rumors of a new Kings Quest and Monkey Island.

I think they never survived the move to 3D. Sure it looked nice, but it
wasn't quite the puzzle the old games were.

Yeah, I saw that, but it said only Playstation 2? Though someone else
on the other group said PC... I collect voice artist autographs from
some of the games too... if anyone else does, let me know; I've tons
of addys for those.

Confession: 3D first person games make me ill...nauseated. I have
heard I am not alone. But I miss the old games with all the inventory
stuff and puzzles or like Quest for Glory where they gave you the
option of playing Magixian or fighter....
