Default "Wow."

Yeah, this is great. The 8-track-collecting newsgroup is now just a
place for people of all kinds to yell. No 8-track discussion, except
Nudo and Bob beating each other over accusations of fraud. Maybe 150
posts a day, all sent to my quite-large AC8TT "archive" in GMail
without so much as a bother reading the new topics' names.

What happened?

Why can't we just stop arguing and let those petty (and not-so-petty)
problems take care of themselves, off this newsgroup? Talk about
collecting 8-tracks! Act our own ages! (I'm 14, and I swear, this group
is populated by five-year-olds with keyboards.)

Winnard's gone because of this kind of stuff. Can't we just put
everything but collecting aside? What's it gonna take?

150 posts a day about how Bob's driving Nudo insane, how bad everyone's
"engrish" is, and how, generally, everything in the world sucks, and
this place is the new, official ranting spot for anyone with newsgroup
access who wants a go at someone else's throat.

Please. Stop.

Charlie Nudo, that's what. If you'd have researched as I'd said
earlier, this group was healthy and growing before Nudo showed up with
his scams, frauds and misinformation. At about that time, things
started the long, slow decline to what you see now.

Why can't we just stop arguing and let those petty (and not-so-petty)

Good observation! However, someone with an infantile personality like
Noodles has to be treated as such, or he just runs roughshod over
everyone.

See? Nudo ran him off, too.

Nudo goes, there's a chance the group can be rebuilt. He stays, it
remains a pigstye. If Malcolm transfers the group to me, however,
action will be swift. I'll convert to moderation and eliminate the
cancer in one, swift cut.

Good observation- as long as anyone replies to Bob's posts, this is
what will happen. Perhaps we should all just ignore him from now on,
and he'll go away.

Tsk tsk tsk, Noodles...since you're on "goo goo groopz'" childish and
clunky HTML interface, you don't have a kill filer. Most of us do,
and can put you there anytime we like!

Bob, you just found out the beauty of google groups, that's obvious to
me- why worry about spam when you can read the posts online. a WWW
site is better than a newsreader interface- WWW sites can get more hits
due to people surfing the net

what you are doing is basically engaging the group via email, well then
you get hammered with all the spam and off-topic posts- they come in to
you via your email

that's good ? instead of bitching about spam, use the google groups
option and you won't get any spam.

Bob, if you join a newsgroup via a "newsreader", you are getting every
post delivered to your mailbox via your email. I did that once and the
amount of email that came pouring in was tremendous- at least 80 emails
a day.

Now, you start hammering on people because you don't want to receive
those emails- is arrogant and stupid on your part. Change your
interface and read this group via Google online- and you won't get all
the alleged so-called "spam" you always complain about.

That's your own fault. Not anyone else's.

Spam to you is any post by anyone but yourself. You want to wax away
with long tech posts, but someone else posts one sentence and you jump
all over them. Grow up and act your age. You're 65, not 5.

Not. I NEVER get email from any newsgroup. This is further proof
that you don't know WTF you're talking about...again...still.

You must've been using the lamer's favorite, Microshaft Outlook. No
one with half a brain uses that crap.

Now, you start hammering on people because you don't want to receive

The only "stupid" one in this thread is you, Noodles. Ask anyone.

Google sucks. It's "Usenet for Idiots."

That's your own fault. Not anyone else's. snip

Your "fault" is that you've a room temperature IQ.

Spam to you is any post by anyone but yourself. You want to wax away
with long tech posts, but someone else posts one sentence and you jump
all over them. Grow up and act your age. You're 65, not 5. snip

Not. You're such a moron, you don't even know what a real newsreader
client is, yet you denigrate them because you were dumb enough to use
Microshaft Outlook, the worst attractor of trojans in the universe.

STFU, Noodles...as usual.
