Hi,
Everyone -i am new to this group,stumbled upon this group only today.I
like it ,anyways i found a hot story about the rare Lincoln
stamp.Enjoy the read

Interestingly, the stamp OFF COVER only catalogues
US $10,000 to $15,000 .

It is the use on this rare cover that raises the value.

Blair, that's true of nearly ever 'better' stamp. The numbers remaining ON
COVER are miniscule compared to those soaked off.


Blair commented on this part of the article: "A rare Abraham Lincoln stamp
that was stolen from Indiana in 1967 and surfaced 39 years later in Chicago
has sold at auction for more than $430,000."

Please note the words "rare" and "stamp".
