Bookies unveil odds on Booker Prize

Bookmakers, enticed by one of the most authoritative competition of British
fantasy writers, announced their odds for this year’s Booker Prize.
The list of candidates for the highest accolade, which was presented recently,
includes 22 books. But betting companies showed their interest in one book only,
reported Casinocitytimes.com.

Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell, which was published by Sceptre in February,
immediately attracted enormous attention. The book, uniting six interleaving
stories ranging from science fiction to 19th century pastiche, was considered
by readers and critics to be a sure Booker winner.
