McGregor/Leslie

Got back a Ewan McGregor 4x6 headshot today. Definately not a PP. The odd
thing is I write to him via venue a few months ago and when I didn't hear
anything assumed it was lost. Today a photograph arrived in its own (Tiny)
envelope with no return address. what happened to my own SASE and photos I
don't know but this was unexpected so I really am not too concerned.

Also Joan Leslie ISP. Got the address from the archives here but will repost if
desired, since I am running late.

It's my feeling for some time now based on just gut feeling and a
little rumor... that Ewan's mom gets all the forwarded mail. If he's
still signing, he must do stacks ahead of time and that's why you
didn't get yours back. He can't sign them being away doing more
filming. He's also not signing SW I hear. Too bad. Another one
bites the dust.

I sent a head shot of Ewan from Ep. 1 and it came back signed. This was
around summer though. I don't know if he's changed his policy or not since
then. Honestly, I would try it. I've heard so many rumors of someone not
signing anything from a certain movie and it turning out to be untrue. Then
again, a couple have turned out to be true.

Interesting theory. I honestly don't know what to make of it. As I said I
have never had this happen before and there was no return address.

As long as the signature is real (and I've compared it to your page so I think
so), the actual photograph is irrelevant. It could be matted out, not that I
want to do so. I imagine he gets tons of letters so its nice that he still
responds to his fan mail authentically.
