Default Help with Rowe Jukebox

Hi, I just obtained a Jukebox and am having trouble getting
information on it so figured I'd put it out there maybe someone will
be able to help or at least direct me in the right direction. I have
a Rowe AMI 200 with micro processor, I am looking for the owners
manual and also need to find out where I can buy a needle for it. Any
other helpful tips or information would be great as well as this is my
first box and I am not to familiar with it. Any information anyone
may have would be a huge help, thanks in advance!

Ed, the model of the machine doesn't really matter, Rowe used the same
pickup: Shure 44 -stylus N44 from the MM1 in 1966 'tll the end of
vinyl. Lift the arm and see if the pickup says either "Shure" or
"Rowe". Original Shure styli are still available but copy needles are
cheaper. If you go the copy route, ask about the stylus compliance. I
have used over two hundred styli on these phonos and sometime the copy
styli are much more compliant than originals. Not a problem on the
older 1100 changer (flat arm) but the later tubular arm is frankly
junk and a too compliant stylus will wobble and often get stuck due to
poor arm bearing and too much anti-skate.

Rob

My purpose in asking the model was to see if any of my Rowe service
info would fit his situation. Ray
