Rare Horror Book, Any Info?

Hi again
I have just had another couple of thousand books delivered, all the usual
suspects, and I haven't come across anything too exciting so far. One book
though is called "It Walks the Woods" by Alan Grant, It was published in
1936 by Ivor Nicholson and Watson. I'ts a horror story set in England. The
dust jacket write up states that this is the authors first book, and that
this terrifying tale should place the author into the mantle left behind by
the untimely death of Edgar Wallace.

I have a feeling the publishers were being a trifle over optimistic as I
can't find a single thing about this book, or the author anywhere on the
internet. If anyone out there in cyber land has some info on this writer, it
would be much appreciated.
