Default Toyota Tops GM in 1Q Global Auto Sales

"Toyota is ahead of GM in several ways, he said, including producing
fuel-efficient models, developing new technology, boosting global
brand image, cutting costs and having high morale and unity among its
ranks.

"Toyota has been a success in almost all the regions, and is opening
new plants," Endo said. "The only region GM continues to be strong is
China, and it has failed almost everywhere else."

....and the Chinese are getting ready to give GM the heave-ho, as well.

Waggoner has failed. He will be fired sometime this summer by a
panicking GM board. Meanwhile, Ford, while having some lingering
marketing and design problems, has possibly turned the corner. The
results of the 500 ( a sales bomb, but a damned good car) and the
Fusion show that they are getting their act together, although far too
slowly. The absence of a competitor to the Prius, even though they
have the technology, shows that the Ford family is still screwing
around with the company too much, and the board needs to get rid of
them once and for all time. Once free of the "spoiled rich kids" of
the Ford family, Ford may be able to eclipse GM as the US #1. However,
it'll take a very strong chairman, something that the US doens't have
anymore with its crop of Harvard Business School idiots running
things.

Read more about this in Iacocca's new book under the chapter, "Can't
anyone around here run a car company anymore?"

Prediction: Kirk Kerkorian will scoop up Chrysler this year and
consult with Iacocca on a turnaround. GM's pipe dream of a "merger"
will fall flat due to lack of financing due to poor credit standing
and the firing of Rick Waggoner as GM cheif. The new Chrysler will
sever all ties with the krauts. Chrysler has had historic ties with
Benz dating back to the 1960s, but it's been proven that Daimler isn't
very good at anything but the Mercedes-Benz line, and even their sales
are slipping.

As it is right now, GM doens't have enough credit to finance much of
anything. GM bonds are now "junk bond" status.

....which makes NO sense at all, since the story is about Toyota, as
predicted, booting GM out of the #1 global spot.

(laughter...) snip

Damn, Noodles...it's 1:01! Aren't you supposed to be back at King
Fifth Wheel, trying to flog welded steel washers to a declining US
aerospace industry? You won't be able to keep up the payments on that
used Saturn at this rate, and Cheryl will have your ass on a stick
when the credit union she works for starts bitching about late
payments!

Too bad all that fraud and tax evasion didn't do much for your low
social and financial standing, Noodles. LMAO!

ahead of Honda (laughter....)

Auto parts mogul Frank Stronach of Magna International is
supposedly looking into the purchase of Chrysler. Speaking of "spoiled rich
kids", his daughter Belinda after attempting to become (by purchasing) Prime
Minister on looks and fashion sense returned to Daddy's company. Hhhhm,
$140,000 a year as an MP versus a million a month as "CEO" of Magna. What to
do....what to do......

Magna has lines of credit...Kirk has CA$H. GM has neither. Un fait
accompli.

Toyota's FIRST as of this week, moron.

http://en.wikipedia snip

Only 3rd graders and room temperature IQ idiots quote from
"Wikipedia," probably one of the worst reference sources now extant.

Obsolete (and probably wrong to begin with) figures. American Honda
sales have been actually picking up for Accords and Pilots, although
dismal for their "truck" line.

wow, Honda is really slipping.... every American car make made, is

Hondas are made at the former VW plant in Marysville, OH.

did they kiss you when you bought that Honda Pilo**** ? (LOL !)

The depreciation on a Honda Pilot is FAR less as a percentage of
original investment than any Saturn wagon. Oh, that 's right...you
bought your Saturn at an old dead coal miner's estate sale, probably
along with that rusted out '49 Olds and junker '61 T-Bird. LMAO!

Charlie Nudo seems to want to impress the world of his mental illness.
He does it with elàn withe every single post.

Hey Noodles! Your hard drive is showing 98% fragmentation. You're
due for a disk crash any day now. Us with NFTS don't have to worry
about that.
