Default AMI WQ series wallboxes....stupid question

Hello, all,
I've got a stupid question....can anyone tell me what the little red
button on the lower front of the AMI WQ wallboxes is for?....if you
reverse the clip on the back it looks like it should make contact with
a reset lever on the mech, but it really does not seem to want to
function that way...I can't seem to find a parts manual for this series
that tells what this button is for...can anyone enlighten me?
thanx
