I recently saw an old issue of BNR that mentioned that the Smithsonian
had two $100000 bills: A00000001A(the one on display;
http://americanhistory.si.edu/youmus/ex21mmed.htm ) and A00020108A.The
Richmond note might be A00020114A and if not it seems to have a sn in
the range of A002011xA. I've long wondered if other bills with similar
sns (20109 - 20112?) still exist.

Mr. Herbert, you are correct. I have a picture of myself holding the two
sheets at the IPMS in 1989. I am holding them so that both the front and
back show. I call it my "Momentarily Solvent" picture (even if they are
specimens). The BEP folks were taking down their exhibit at the close of
the show and let me hold'em just long enough for the picture...

If I remember correctly, the sheet of $100,000 notes displayed by the BEP

at
major coin shows has all zero serial numbers - specimens.
