Default Noodler's Swishmix Glacier Blue

A giant, 4.5 oz. bottle of Noodler's Swishmix Glacier arrived from
Chuck Swisher today. This waterproof "eternal" blue ink goes down
initially with some turquoise highlights, but dries to a great-looking,
mid-spectrum true blue.

Even with a wet-writing bold nib, Glacier was quick-drying -- faster
than regular Noodler's waterproof inks. It showed no feathering on any
paper I tried, including two kinds of printer paper from Staples,
Cambridge yellow legal pad, Ampad steno notebook, Antioch spiral-bound
journal (from Barnes & Noble), Moleskine ruled notebook, and newsprint
(NY Times daily and Sunday crossword puzzles).

The color is nicely saturated, but not excessively so.
Waterproof/fraudproof qualities seem typical for Noodler's eternal
inks. Dunked in water, it didn't budge from the page.

This ink has a fruity aroma that users of Noodler's American Eel inks
will recognize. Like other Noodler's waterproof inks, it leaves a thin
coating on the nib while in the pen. (Not to worry, it washes right
off.)

Swishmix Glacier shoots right to the top of my list of favorite
Noodler's waterproof blue inks -- of favorite inks, period. I love it,
and want to run right out and try some of the other Swishmix colors.

Trouble is, he gets my interest and I gotta try it, too!
Someday, though, I'm going to beat him to an ink. :-)

Maybe Nathan or one of the resellers should start a "new ink
subscription". Every time he comes out with a new ink, everyone with
a subscription gets charged and shipped a bottle.
