Help on Seeburg Laser Music SCD-1

I bought a large number of jukes (and vids and pinballs and more) and trying
my best to check things out. This one has me stumped. It acts like it wants
to work, says something to the affect of Free Play, accepts and CD and track
(ACCEPTED displayed), but it never does anything. The Sony CD player resets
itself if I move the carrier to the right, but it just sits there when I
type in selections. Anyone got any idea?

I bought and sold several of these a few years back, the Sony player is
almost always in need of repair. Of course parts and service are almost
impossible to find... except I believe our own John Robertson has a service
tech that can repair these players.
