Default "In The Mail" Sunday 11/2/03

Those who know me know I try to remain positive and my negativity is pretty
much limited. I will remain this way again with the posts that have taken
issue with my information.

Most importantly is to take a moment and say thank you for the support of such
a great number of friends that I have made in all the venues that I post and
receive information. You folks are terrific and make this the great hobby that
it is.

Secondly, regarding the comment that I have a great deal of time on my hands.
Yes I do and I have earned it and enjoy the opportunity to spend this time
doing what I love to do. I spent many years working 60-80 hours a week and now
it is my turn to get some of those lost hours back. And I do. The key to my
enjoyment of this great hobby is the total support from my wonderful loving
wife and my children. If they didn't support what I do it wouldn't be being
done. If your gonna do any hobby do it cause it brings you joy, and fills
those empty moments. And then there is that Sunday mail thing........

The only thing better then getting mail during the week is when it shows up on
Sunday as well, and this week happens to be one of them great weeks. My mother
in law had a couple of items show up at her home and I got them delivered
today.

But even more fun was the in person opportunities for the day at the GBSCC show
in Wilmington, Ma. We had a great time again and some great photo ops, and
signatures were gotten.

We had taken a photo of my son and three of the ladies of baseball, and I
printed it overnight and brought an 8x10 of them back to the show and one of
them was there and signed it. Will have to have it in the mail for the other
two but it will be a nice item when completed.

The other in persons were from hockey official Paul Stewart, former Boston
Bruin Eddie Sandford and yet another in person op with Gary Doak. Also there
and signing for us with photos were former US Female Olympic Hockey Team Gold
medalists, Tara Mounsey, Laurie Baker and Collene Coyne.

But then the mail successes were from:

HOCKEY

Tony McKegney
PO Box 601
East Amherst, NY 14051
sent 9/30/03
received 11/2/03
rec'd 2 index cards signed

BASKETBALL

Tommy Heinsohn
PO Box 422
Newton Upper Falls, Ma
sent 10/13/03
received 11/1/03
received our 8x10 color photo signed and inscribed to my son. It is a photo of
my son and Mr. Heinsohn that we took at a show a couple of months ago. Yet
another addition to that photo album.

til next time....
hope all your mailboxes are full
see ya
