Default Seeburg 222 amp rebuiler?

Who's reasonable and skilled? I don't have the juke here to test it and
don't have the transformer to supply it w/ the correct voltage. I'm located
in Florida. Please email me with your referrals.
Thanks,
Mike

The 222 is a very poor preforming jukebox

And this helps the original poster how? Should he junk it?

It may not the best Seeburg, but one properly serviced with it's complicated
amp rebuilt correctly would never be considered "poor".

That was to inform before anyone put big money into it expecting a
decent sounding jukebox . That machine is so overbuilt about any part of
it costs plenty to have restored for you .
I just redid an amp for one of those and was very disappointed at its
somewhat average sound and no volume .

Just looking to get it working. Perfection isn't really important. It's a
pretty juke anyways. Thanks for the input everyone.

And on the contrarian side of that argument, the 220 / 222 *can* sound very
good; it might take more effort than just changing out capacitors, but the end
result can be worth it. Adding a pair of extension speakers also helps a
great deal as the crossover network in the juke tends to overly suppress the
high end.

Tony i agree 100% some very good amp guys could probably change
circuitry around to get those to do better .
The O.P. does not want ``perfection`` that is perfect for that machine .
They do have alot of chrome !
