I am almost done restoring my Comet and need to find either an
original speaker or a suitable replacement. Can anyone help?
Thanks...-Mike

I would try Vern Tisdale down in Arizona

www.verntisdale.com
His website is under construction so go to bottom of new page and
select the old website and go to Rockola parts.....
He also used to recone speakers I believe, you might check if you have
the old core
Good Luck Terry

if you cant find an original, you can always buy current technology and add
a ballast resistor. I did this on my Seeburg C. Am not sure if the 1438 used
a powered coil or not. Anyhow, lots of suitable speakers can be found he
