One off-the-wall suggestion to solve the debt crisis was to issue a couple of
trillion dollar coins, since that while there is a limit on the amount of paper
money the Fed can issue, there is a loophole which allows unlimited coin to be
issued.
Can't wait to get my copy graded and certified by NGC!

Proof or Uncirculated? First Strike? Authenticated S-mint? Sales of these
will surely be followed to assess the strength of the hobby.

If we get to that point, our money would be worth less than Zimbabwe's.

Of course we could take a page from the Canadians and mint 100kg
US$1,000,000 coins. With the value of gold now, it might even make sense
to make it US$2,500,000 (in honor of 2 1/2 dollar gold coins).]

I still have a 1923 gold plated 1,000,000 Mark coin. It didn't seem
to help Gernany very much ... how will a Trillion (of dollars or
whatever) help the USA?
